I am a transformational guide and integration coach. I am a non-binary citizen of the earth and first-generation Canadian, child of Polish Jewish and Norwegian immigrants, living with white, cis-gendered, able-bodied privilege. . Home is currently on Boruca land, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

Ever since I first nibbled mushrooms in the forest as a teenager, and experienced the rapture of communion with the sacred in nature, plants have been my primary teachers. They have guided me on a decades long exploration into healing work and altered states of consciousness, and the journey never ends. I am deeply grateful for the honor of holding space for others to experience the transformation that is possible with the support of our vegetative elders.

In 1999 I was introduced to the Santo Daime, a syncretic, entheogenic tradition that hails from the Brazilian Amazon, in which elements of mystical Christianity and Yoruba mediumship meet indigenous Amazonian ayahuasca traditions. That fall I went on an expedition in the Amazon led by Padrinho Alfredo, the head of the Santo Daime, on an extended and immersive journey that confirmed my commitment to the path of plant medicine and ceremony; since then I have completed many extended visits to Brazil, learning from the lineage holders and landscapes the plants come from.

I have been a certified yoga instructor for 8 years. In 2023, I graduated from Oregon’s first legal psilocybin facilitator training program. Ongoing graduate studies in depth psychology, animism, and somatic and nature-based therapies advance my capacity to support the release of trauma and the recovery of a life of authenticity, meaning, ease and fulfillment.

I am committed to inclusivity, reciprocity, and social and environmental justice. I believe our personal healing is inextricable from the wellbeing of our families, culture, and planet, and our inner work in liberation is essential to the dismantling of the systems of oppression that dominate our world. I direct a portion of all proceeds to the Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative, with gratitude to the landscapes, lineages and wisdom keepers that have tended sacred plants and ways for generations. I am developing a non-profit to offer services to refugees displaced by violence and inequality. I speak English, Spanish, and awkward versions of Norwegian and Portuguese.

All I do is rooted in the desire to contribute to the emergence of a culture of connection that honours and cares for all beings. My desire to consciously parent my children motivates my devotion to practices that expand my compassion. My intention to heal effects of inherited and experienced traumas, counter the influences of dysfunctional culture, and embody authenticity, empathy and equanimity gets tested daily. I am always learning, and there is always more to learn.

The wisdom of the earth is my greatest refuge.
